Twenty One CGMs working in various units of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) have been promoted as Executive Directors. Four Chief General Managers of SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant have become Executive Directors (EDs).
Suchnaji News! Shri Anirban Dasgupta, Director I/c (BSP) handed over the promotion orders to Dr. M. Ravindranath, Shri. P K Sarkar, Shri S K Gajbhiye, and Shri. Anish Sengupta at Director In-charge Conference Hall, Ispat Bhawan, Bhilai on the evening of 15th November 2024. All the newly elevated EDs were present with their respective spouses.
Anjani Kumar, ED (Works), Shri S. Mukhopadhyay, ED (Projects), Shri A K Chakraborty, ED (MM), Dr. A K Panda, ED (F&A), and Shri. B K Giri, ED (Mines) were present on this occasion along with Shri. N K Banchhor, Chairman (SEFI), & President (BSP-OA), Shri. Shrikant Ramaraju, GM (HR-EE), Shri. Parvinder Singh, Gen. Secy. (BSP-OA), and other Senior Officials of the Plant.
A list of 21 promotee Executive Directors was released by the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Corporate Office, New Delhi today. Shri Anish Sengupta, working as CGM (URM-BSP), has been elevated as Executive Director (Projects) in SAIL-Bokaro Steel Plant, whereas Dr. M Ravindranath, who was CMO I/c (M&HS), has been promoted and appointed as Executive Director (M&HS), at SAIL-BSP.
SK Gajbhiye, who was CGM I/c (M&U – BSP) has been promoted to the rank of Executive Director (CFP, Chandrapur) in SAIL, while PK Sarkar, who was working as CGM I/c (Services) at Bhilai Steel Plant, will take charge as ED (SSP) Salem.
Anirban Dasgupta, Director I/c (SAIL-BSP) congratulated the promoted EDs and their spouses, and wished them a bright future. It is a matter of pride that we have the right person for the right job, he said, urging the newly elevated EDs to focus on smart working, integrity, leadership, and thinking laterally.
